It’s March. The weekly forecast calls for showers and 40s (F). Do I make the switch? Or is there one more push from Mother Nature?

Probably this weekend, I don’t think we’re gonna get much more snow here in Cleveland

It seems like there's always one last storm sometime in March. I do mine over spring break, last week of March.

M iddle/End of March. Mornings are still around freezing point and when you get rain and snow melt potentially freezing in parking lots, it’s worth the peace of mind to make sure I’m covered.

I usually switch mine towards the end of March; later if it’s a longer winter. Here in eastern Iowa though, it’s been fairly mild lately and we’re forecasted in the upper 40s to mid-50s for the next two weeks it’s definitely been warm enough for it.
I have an appointment for new all-seasons at the end of this week for my commuter so once I get back from vacation in a couple weeks I’ll swap my winters out.

Believably forecast to be the warmest year ever recorded. So... whenever you like, probably.

In MN, April 15th is when the sports car comes back out, providing it has rained enough to completely remove the salt. Before then if a fool’s errand if you value your car.

Now that I’m in the two car life I do it the first full week of April with highs over 60 and lows over 40. In the interim on good days I drive the “
summer”
car.

Do I count? I'm swapping over mid-April, because driving on winters in May sounds depressing.

As I’m lazy and the bit of the U.K. I live in gets bugger all snow, I just have all seasons on all year round. I don’t think summer tyres make that much sense on an SUV to begin with, I’m hardly pushing the limits of adhesion when gently driving to work.
However, if and when I finally buy something sportier and RWD- ier (E34 5-series or newer Jag XF) , it’ll have summer tyres and go into hibernation in autumn and come out in spring.

I run my summer tires year round......................
Honestly, we’ve never had a winter bad enough in WI for me to bother with dedicated “winter” tires. I either run good M/S rated ATs or good M/S rated All-seasons, I’ve never had an issue getting around or stopping.

I won’t switch mine over until at least mid A pril. Sometimes we have snow all the way up until May here.

I’m going to retrieve the stock wheels and all seasons from my parents garage when I am down there next weekend. Still not sure when I am going to switch them over though. At this point I don’t think I am going to get anything the all seasons can’t handle.

We have 4 seasons here: Almost Winter, Winter, Still Winter, and Construction.
We have just moved into Still Winter. So needless to say, the winter tires will stay on for a while yet.

I only do because I have a set laying around. They double as my RallyCross tires as well. Otherwise, I probably wouldn’t bother.

I had snows on the Acclaim last winter, because my dad found a set on rims for free.
As one does I burned them off last winter, this winter I just ran my All Seasons, did plenty fine.
